Current committee believes in working in team without any positional hierarchy. As a united organization Soikot continue to grow along with the foot print set by our ex-members like Joydeep Mukherjee, Sujoy Choudhuri and others. Soikot executive committee is now stronger with the inclusion of few new members in the work force - Arghya Mukherjee, Sumanda Basu, Tapas Das and Anupam Bandyopadhyay. Along with them the other members are:

Rabi, Tanya and their 8 year old son Ronit has been a resident of Tampa since 1995. Rabi did his studies at ISI, Calcutta and IIT Delhi. Rabi's job in the IT industry has taken him to U.K, Japan and USA.
 
Jyotirmoy lives in Tampa with his wife Madhumita. He has completed his Masters in Applied Physics from Calcutta University and started his career in IT. After spending a couple of years in India and abroad he moved to Florida in 2000. Little girl Nimisha is new addition to The Sarkars.
 
Raja lives in Tampa with his wife Anindita. They are proud parents of a baby boy named Bedanta.
 
After attending CALCUTTA UNIVERSITY, INDIAN STATISTICAL INSTITUTE AND JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY, Manojda taught in a college for a while prior to coming to USA. In US he also attended NEWYORK UNIVERSITY. He has been associated with a financial institution over 27 years. Manojda was a treasurer of TAGORE SOCIETY. He is a life long member of BONGA SANSKRITI SANGHA.
He is also an executive member of NewYork Durga puja committee. Manojda was all along closely associated with cultural associations in NEWYORK. He produced six major Bengali drama in NEWYORK as well as did recitation program in NEWYORK, BOSTON and CLEVELAND. Manojda relocated to TAMPA in 2002.

Since Banidi was a teenager, she had her short stories published in Anandabazar, Desh. Over the time she was a frequent contributor primarily in the above two publications. After receiving her Master's degree from Calcutta University, she moved to NEWYORK. In NEWYORK she wrote, acted and directed several GITI ALEKHKHA and dramas. Her published drama was staged by a professional group in Calcutta for a year. As a proficient performer of Nazrulgeeti and Rabindrasangeet, Banidi did perform solo as well as with groups.
From ARTS TO IT. Banidi was selected on a competitive basis by Grumman Aero Institute ( A division of Northrop Grumman Corp) who designs, develops, and manufactures aircraft and aircraft subassemblies in Bethpage Long Island to study four different computer languages for four years. After completion she became a CNE and worked for IBM, Bell Atlantic.
 
Anirban moved to Tampa with his wife Mahasweta in 2004. Anirban did his Masters in Life Sciences from India and continued his studies at New York. At present he is a Florida State employee. He loves acting and enjoys photography and music.
